I could swear I read somewhere that Luma3DS.dat is no longer needed. Is that true, or was I dreaming? LoL.
No londer needed for what?
of course you continously need the .dat for loading the CFW
You don't need Luma.dat or /3ds/Luma3DS for k9lh.I have no idea, that's why I asked. I guess I was dreaming. The 3DS/Luma3DS folder is fine to get rid of though if you don't use any other loader?
Also, I can't remember what these files on the root of my card are actually for:
Slot0x05KeyY.bin
slot0x11key96.bin
slot0x25KeyX.bin
slot0x11key96.bin is not needed thoughYou don't need Luma.dat or /3ds/Luma3DS for k9lh.
Those Slot keys are used for Decrypt9.
You only need the luma folder and the arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your sd card for luma to work with a9lh. As for the slot keys toss them into a folder named decrypt9 on the root of your sd cardI have no idea, that's why I asked. You can actually have d9 create a key file that has all of them in it. That way you can delete all of them.Thanks. So I WASN'T dreaming.
Looking at the latest release notes of Decrypt9 I can get rid of one of the keys.
"Keyfile 'slot0x05keyY.bin' is no more required"
This is awesome! I am glad you made an updater that takes the hourlies from your site! That's pretty rad. Is there any chance you could list the version info/commit number before downloading? Or would that be a bit difficult? If you're having problems with Hamcha's updater, try mine: https://github.com/astronautlevel2/Luma3ds-updater
It supports both hourlies and stable releases and supports path changing, read the README for all the details.
It's possible. I'd need to either implement my own API on my site or figure out how github's json api works. That's a lot of effort though, soThis is awesome! What we really need is an updated for the updated[emoji14]This is awesome! I am glad you made an updater that takes the hourlies from your site! That's pretty rad. Is there any chance you could list the version info/commit number before downloading? Or would that be a bit difficult?
What are your payloads named? For the life of me I cannot get decrypt or emunand9 to work on boot since I've upgraded to Luma3ds. I have read through this thread and it has not helped.
Try updating to the latest versions.y_EmuNAND9.bin
x_decrypt.bin

i have read that luma patch this and you need only install the gba on emunand
Nope.jpg
You still need to install GBA/DSi on sysnand, and it's unlikely this will ever be solved for DSi stuff (GBA possibly)
