Oh ok, didn't know, so the pokemon is "legit" (well, I'll dont trade him or something else, but just to know :P )

By my standards even though you did the event I wouldn't want the resulting pokemon because of the illegal combination of "3ds region" and country and sub region which is only visible in apps like pkhex and Nintendo would probably consider it hacked. But everyone has there own standards.

Hopefully @TuxSH can improve the spoofing to allow us to get correctly made events. I'll continue using a region changed system until it's possible for events.

 ..... ? Wait, a "half legit Pokémon" :wtf: ??? What's that?
Hmm,
legit: totally catchable
half-legit (well this doesn't really exist but I see it like that): pokemon that are catchable (or like there with the xerneas) but no eligible for us, eg: mew in emerald, without AR (or grena glitch), you cant go catch him if your are not japanese, etc...
+ @astronautlevel explanation.
hacked: well you know :P

.... Indeed, if you use a bug to catch some pokémons (that reminds me the tweaking trick with Darkrai and Shaymin on Pokémon Diamond XD), there are considered like half-legit... But the final caught darkrai or shaymin is it legit !? OK, thank you too!

If you have an n3ds, you should enable either clock, L2, or both. It will greatly improve a number of games (pokemon being one of them). However, having both on can break compatibility with a lot of older games, so it may be better to just enable Clock. If I were you, I'd enable both, and if you encounter problems change it.

does that setting stick permanently until you manually boot back into config menu if like you wanted to turn them off again ? (cause that would be neat)

gotcha thanks guys, might try it out soon.. have not changed builds since 2weeks or so.

sorry if this has been asked before ,but what exactly is force a9lh detection?(i have a9lh already installed) so what is the benefit of having that option ticked in the boot config?
and also the Autoboot into sysNAND , what is the difference between autoboot into sysNAND and updated sysNAND , is having both options ticked the right way ?

i always only tick updated sysNAND and use prepatched firms<

lastly, the bottom option, where it says use boot splash screeninit..thingie ? what does that do? if i dont have that ticked, my animation or splash will not show up or.. is it something different?

if you have a splash screen already that option isnt for you.
the autoboot sys nand thing is for menuhax users
the force a9lh is so if u boot from somethign other than the am9loaderhax.bin

i have updated sysNAND ( i wiped my emuNAND ) is firm90 still ..somehow accessible for updated sysNAND users?
if you want to access to other cfws under aurei, you should check force detection.
other arm9 tools are able to run through a9lh, so it's not so important
