if region-changed eshop is in, it must only be in emunand?
my Eevee LL with US sysnand doesn't boot with its old secureinfo_A, only a US one.
the US one is on the SD root to make eshop work, but it won't boot.
meh.

Just remove the screws like I did.

How do you remove the screws completely? they're held in place by those little silver clips. I can't seem to figure out how to get those off.

edit: got it. pressed the lid against a table and they popped out the holes without breaking anything. perfect. i can take it apart without ever having to unscrew ever again. also the back stays on without falling off even without the screws. plus I have a clear case snapped on the back.

Why exactly is everyone trying to compile their own AuReiNand when you can just download it precompiled?

Yeah when I updated to the newest one I had to delete all the files within the aurei folder, because now all of that is incorporated into the aureinand.dat file and armloaderhax.bin files from what I understand. you only need the payloads folder inside of the aurei folder.

I like to change loader code so I can rename my payloads.

I think virtually 100% of AuReiNand users would have Decrypt9WIP, would be good if we didnt have to rename it to default.bin and instead hoding "X" would look for Decrypt9WIP.bin in payloads.

You can name the payloads to boot with whatever button you like.

Do animations work on the splash top/bottom or only regular images? I'm asking this because if I can avoid having a second payload (anim9) I would like to do so.

This nonsense that's causing tension between Rei and Arurora needs to stop. We don't have the right to hate and play one of the other. Rei does a fantastic job just as Aurora does with this CFW. For those that think that Rei's CFW is the best all end all. Stick with that CFW and help Rei with that project. Same goes for people like myself who enjoy Aurora's CFW. There really doesn't need to be any hate thrown around. We're suppose to be a community who looks out for each other. I by no means are crawling up Aurora's backside. But I will say something when one of the devs is having to rethink their future with this project. Yes, Aurora has stated in Rei's thread that she's rethinking spending as much time on this project when members clearly don't respect the work she does on a daily bases. It's a shame that it had to come to that.

You don't have the latest ctrulib installed. Re-download it from Git, then just type "make" inside (not make install !). Paste the entire folder in c:\devkitpro and replace existing files.

I did, but I also leave the back cover off. I feel like I'm going to crack the back cover with how hard it snaps off.

If I did that my battery would fall out??

I don't know about you guys. But I'm content knowing my back wouldn't fall off if the screwes weren't tightened down. In this scenario, I think Nintendo made a wise decision with the dimensions of the back plate on the new 3ds. I do understand that feeling of 'oh shit, did I just snap my back plate' when removing the said plate.
