I think he meant a homebrew that downloads and updates to the latest AuReiNand, not the system firmware, like @ihaveamac's updater for Mashers' grid launcher.
You launch it as per normal from a 9.2 version sysNAND (or apparently emuNAND) while patiently waiting for proper A9LH support.

After updating to the latest update with region free, I got a black box CIA with no banner- just a black icon. When I load the CIA- it's stuck on the Nintendo 3ds sign
That means you installed something you weren't supposed to, to NAND.
Delete it through FBI.

How can I tell which one to delete? It doesn't show up in system settings and neither through the Gridlauncher's title selector

Does this new update fix the eshop on region changed systems? I have been reading through but no on has mentioned it yet. With the code coming from Cosmo I was hoping it was implemented.

GitHub enforces HTTPS which is an issue, since ctrulib can't seem to access sites using that. unless I'm mistaken. I'm thinking about what to do about it, similar to the grid launcher
