Quick question, What is the Detect AL9H option?
Same thing as the "installeda9lh" flag used to do.
It forces A9LH detection when booting AuReiNAND from HBL.

teach me English please.
I'll teach you English if you teach me Japanese XD

3.12 installed and running very well, menu is cool, streamlining the folder structure was simple but genius

I opted for all 3 options on the start up flag menu, i hope that was right

I had to update my signature again though lol

Thank you Aurora

(Now the only files you should have in the aurei folder are the firmwares, the patched_firmwares, the config.bin and the payloads folder.)

About disabling sigpatches: I won't do it because I think an option would be confusing, and it's not needed to actually install a CIA to see if it's signed, just check if the ticket is zeroed out at the beginning :P
About a "9.0 mode": I don't plan to add it because 9.0 is only needed for Gateway today, and I don't see a reason in installing A9LH to use Gateway as the main CFW (this CFW only covers common usage scenarios, and it's made to be simple).
Aww man, more fun to have when I get off work today!

I think it's like installeda9lh flag.

Indeed it is the installeda9lh flag. It just wasn't making sense because it was worded different to me

I take it copying the config.bin to other installations will work? As user friendly as the menu is, I've got a couple of friends that I've been keeping up to date with a zip folder of latest aurei and payloads and it's a lot easier for me to bundle in all the files they need than explain things to each of them each time :P

@Aurora Wright Need to clear something up please

3 options on the initial menu

1st : Updated SysNAND mode (A9LH-only) - I need this as I only use sysnand
2nd: Use pre-patched FIRMs - Supposed to give a faster boot according to OP
3rd: Force A9LH detection

I selected all 3 BUT am confused on option 2, on Aurora's github she says

  • FIRM patching has been made slightly faster (only applies if pre-patched FIRMs aren't used) by removing two memory searches.
which contradicts the 2nd option, says in OP faster boot BUT on Github says if you use pre-patched Firm's it's slower

help

Aurora please will u have a look at my post above #4485

Thank you in advance

I mean you could just time them yourself? To me non pre-patched firms are now as fast as pre-patched. (about 9.6 seconds either way with a nearly full 64GB SD /w sysNAND)

@Raylight try this. Just copy your firm files into the aurei folder and it should work as advertised.

Edit: This mod also does not need the _bl files anymore. They can be deleted.

The patching is faster, and if you use that option it uses the already-patched FIRMs. So you won't get any improvements if you have the option set.
