Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Just updated from 3.8.1 to 3.11 and now I am unable to boot into sysnand.

I deleted the "rei" folder, copied the "aurei" folder across, added my flags and payloads then replaced "arm9loaderhax.bin"

It loads the extra payloads perfectly fine, such as D9, but if I hold nothing then it refuses to boot sysnand, it just turns off instantly

Did you replace firmware.bin and firmware90.bin?

You still have to put both those files in the aurei folder

Do you have the firmware files in the /aurei/ folder? Also, did you delete the "patched_" files?

So with updating to @Aurora Wright a9lh fork and the latest version of ARN, it's got rid of the flicker at the start and taken about 2 seconds off the boot time, it's now down to 6 seconds.

Are @mid-kid, @Reisyukaku, and @Aurora Wright planning for region free feature? I know that @Riku converter automatically makes CIAs region free, but I think It would be great if we have region free natively. Maybe you can get the code from Free Multi Patcher (?).

I'd just use NTR, then whenever you wanna use a game out of region just launch NTR

In the meantime, you can install a patched Home Menu that makes it region-free regardless of CFW ^^

Once i get around to RE-ing K11 to do arm11 patches the right way, sure.
