Maybe. If not, I can just grabe the files again. It does suck that I'll have to go back and use sysupdater to downgrade to 9.2 just so I can create an emunand so that I can have an updadted sysnand as well as an emunand. I might just keep the updated sysnand.
You don't really have to.
You could technically not have an emuNAND since most 9.0 firm apps needed can be boot straight from a9lh.
And you can also run emuNAND9 from a9lh to make an emunand thats 10.6, and just downgrade the emunand to 9.2

Right. I'm using an updated sysnand that's on 10.6. A lot of people say it's safer to have the sysnand on 9.2, and the emunand on the latest. What would I have to do to actually hurt the sysnand? Delete some files I'm not supposed to? Because I'm able to update it without it ever being broken right?
Technically you could just stay updatedsysnand without really having a 9.2 emunand.
The only real use is for those with Gateway, which will need 9.0 firm to run it.
So as long as I never delete any needed files on my SD card, I can update my sysnand as long as I want without it every breaking my hack, and can install and use CIA's without fear, right?
i nvr install menu hax.restore emunand and guess what, cakes works fine but rei still stuck
U really need to be on 9.2 to create this emunand? Cant u just press y or a during boot to load emunand 9???? i was thinking was just that lol
Actually, if I think about it, you could basically delete everything from your sd card, and a9lh would still be intact. All you'd need to do is redownload the nesessary files to get into cfw and bada bing: your system is fine.

*facepalm* Yes you do need to downgrade to 9.2. Do you think that by some miracle, some kernal exploit will fall from the sky and allow emunand and cfw? You should be happy that there's even a way to downgrade instead of hoping that some dev will have some "Press Y and watch your system become gold with rainbows shooting out of it" godmode exploit that'll allow you to have anything you want on it.
Why u do need to be so sarcastic for a simple question? Anyway, Since you have a9lh u can cold boot into emunand, u can restore before booting by entering decrypt9, and can ENTER emunand9 before the system actually launches, I still dont get it why u can't do a new one from there. Im not blamming anyone like u mr. short-fuse

Aurora still uses the original A9LH.
I myself downgraded back to the original versionthe splash screen got annoying.
I would... But the screen flashes on for a second without a splash screen, which is probably more annoying

Because that takes time. Lots of time when we already have a simple way for you to get it already. And who am I "blamming"? YOU'RE the one who thinks that you're entitled to a hacked system without doing any work other than sticking some files into your 3ds, turning it on and boom! Hacked 3ds. And it really isn't a simple question if you think about it. What you're asking is for a dev to tear through the 3ds wasting weeks and even months trying to find a way to allow kernal access to all the people too scared to actually downgrade. It makes no sense. And the reason I'm so annoyed is I see posts all the time asking for a new way to downgrade or you're post asking for a way to get cfw on the newest firmware. People do this for free on their own time, and should be treated better than "10.6 cfw NOW".

I was just asking if he couldnt do it for help him, as he dont need anything more for boot into Emunand9 and gor surprised as it seemed that was pretty straitgh forward to do that.

And then just one more quick question that doesn't belong here. I've injected FBI into health and safety, but the FBI icon only shows up on my top screen, when I hover over the icon. Is there a way to get rid of the yellow triangle icon?
After a while it'll change as well.
On my 2DS it changed from the triangle to FBI after two reboots.
