@Mrrraou, sorry my question was not explained well. After running GBA on emuNAND, upon exit GBA game AuReiNand reboots to sysNAND to prevent save loss. How do you return to emuNAND? You have to turn off the 3DS correct?

Enter system settings and exit.
Btw, I have a test build for people with slowness issues. I'm not promising much, I just did a clean-up of Rei's file management functions...

@Aurora Wright, another user pointed out I should install quick reboot by @AlbertoSONIC and keep A pressed upon launch. This is an acceptable compromise. Thanks for the great features you continue to add to AuReiNand.

just checked out the latest release on github and it still boots just as fast as it did before (10.9 seconds) which is really cool, it returns to sysnand after starting gba just as intended

the bootcfg stuff seems to slow down 128gb cards a lot.. tested a couple and went from 15 --> 25 seconds :/

using 64GB myself here. oh and with that slowness I saw in the code that writing a file always unlinks it, is that really needed since the file sizes are pretty much always the same anyways? seems like a waste to me to always let it go through the file table again.

i messed up and forgot to inject fbi into emunand before installing A9LH AuReiNand.
decrypt9 loaded with A9LH can't inject anything and decrypt9 loaded through ninjhax now on cfw just red screen and restarts.
does anybody have an idea for an easy way to install fbi now?

I put that because when all patched_firms had an unique, shared name, the smaller FIRMs had leftovers from the bigger ones. This could be risky for the pattern searches (as I obviously only make sure that patterns are unique in a clean FIRM file). Now that they have different names, it could be removed, if it helps those with slow cards...

Thanks for 3.7.2 .. I just tried it, and I read the issues people mentioned about slowness. Just thought I would post my feedback about it here:
Emunand: Slightly loads faster? 0.5s or something
Sysnand: About 1s slower

I also just tried the test build you just posted.. compared to 3.7.2. It's more or less the same for me

it works in my 9.2 emunand with 9.0 firm, and it works on my wifes 9.2 sysnand

Yes, you can update to 10.6 no problem

I must be doing something wrong. v3.7.2 works perfectly on my a9lh n3ds. on my wifes menuhax n3dsxl, it hangs at black, but 3.7.1 works. on my a9lh 2ds, 3.7.2 works booting to updated sysnand, but not 9.2 emunand.

edit: and now after swapping the same files around a bunch, 3.7.2 is working perfectly on the 2ds. wtf?

Yes tubehax blocks updates from Nintendo.

For the 3.7.1 changelog... just attempt to exit System Settings after booting to a non-default option. It will launch the same thing again.
Assume you use L to boot 9.0 emuNAND. Then exit system settings. It will launch 9.0 emuNAND with 9.0 FIRM again.
If you launch a GBA game, on exit (when you press home to exit) it will be forced to boot sysNAND. This is to avoid permanently losing your GBA savegame.

Is there a button(s) we can hold that will erase this config file on boot and reset aureinand to default settings? Or do we just hold the button that we were holding before to reset it? I just want to know what to do if I hold the wrong button on boot.
