Hacking Lost in trying to get r4i gold to work

Hi.
I got R4i gold card for my 3ds, but i cant seem to get it to work.
it looks like this:

my 3ds version is: 4.5.0-10E.

What exactly do i need to download? because i downloaded the wood kernel (latest version, extracted it as i supposed to), but it gives me a black screen... there is so many updates and patches and im completly lost in trying to figure out what i need.

There are MANY R4 clones. I'm NOT entirely sure about this, but I think you are not supposed to download the wood kernel. You should enter to the URL that you see in the package, and follow the original manufacturer instructions. It seems to have a very recent update.

look for a website on the box/card/packaging and download the firmware files from the site shown on the box there is hundreds of variations of the r4 cards

What game icon do you get when you put the card in the 3DS? Also, look for a letter or number near the golden pins on the back of the card. What letter do you see?

The game name is 2 Japanese lines and under it its "konami digital entertainment".
In step no. 2 they say:
"Insert the Micro SD card(Preloaded wood kernel) into the “Blue Card” and Running."

I downloaded wood kernel, put it in the root of the card (i know how to do these things, had several cards before) but have no idea what they mean by "blue card".

When i try to open it it flashes 1 time with white screen, then go black. I can still press home and return.

as for a number or letter in the back of the card, there is nothing...

sorry but thats a DS only flash cart(will not play 3ds games) and not the 3ds one that you wanted

I think you need to decrypt the .dat file into WOODR4.NDS, that's how mine works.

That's the same card I got for my dsi, I just downloaded the wood kernel from www.r4ids.cn, and put the contents in the root of the microsd, it works fine (both on the dsi and my 3ds). Direct link to the file:

the reason i bought it was because i wanted to play 3ds games. and i was surprised why it was so cheap... i knew i shouldn't order in the middle of the night.
guess ill replace my dstwo now, its falling apart anyway...

the reason i bought it was because i wanted to play 3ds games. and i was surprised why it was so cheap... i knew i shouldn't order in the middle of the night.
guess ill replace my dstwo now, its falling apart anyway...

make sure to ONLY get the Gateway3DS. do not bother with MT-Card or the others.
