Eh, I like it.
I like it very much too!
I'm still not a fan, but I'm buying day one regardless.
The logo looks cool. I would've preferred if the game was called Mario Kart 3D though. Or an original name like Double Dash and Super Circuit had.
I would like it more if it was called "Mario Kart 3d" Like it should be. Oh well im not a fan of the title.
Call it what they will, I'm still referring to it as "Mario Kart 3DS" when I talk about it/buy it.
I'm 50/50 with this name, but I also feel Mario Kart 3d is better.
Well it a least show devs not every title need 3D?
I myself don't like the fact that some devs puts /D at the end of everything on the 3DS. StarFox 64 3D .
With Mario Kart 7, I have the feeling that I will have a perfect combination of what made every of the 6th entry before so good.
Can't wait. Mario Kart is so much fun, definitely the series that I had the most fun with in my life.
I think perhaps they didn't want people to think it's, say, Mario Kart DS but in 3D. It's a bit like people have been thinking the 3DS is just another DS. An original name would have been good though..
I read something from kotaku that it should be the 9th Mario Kart. Maybe if they included the arcade ones... but still...
7 is good. (My favorite number!)
Getting rid of Mario Kart for good is a horrible idea for nintendo. I'ts basically a guaranteed hit for every console!
Mario Kart, Mario, and Super Smash Bros. are always going to be some of Nintendo's biggest games.
I'm not a huge fan of the name, but it's not like the name of the game really matters. I like the logo a lot though!
9 Include the arcade ones in fact.
Since the arcade ones are not part of the main series, the last one is 7.
"mario kart 3d" for 3ds.
given that, I don't mind the little step away from the norm of the other releases
The logo looks awesome and I like the name a lot. It's better to move away from naming everything with "3D". Super Mario 3D Land isn't that bad either, although that 3D in their is kind of un-necessary.
annnnd Pocket Monsters
On topic, It's not breathtaking, but I like it.
It seems that they are trying to evade the 3d name from the console, if you watch the 3ds european commercial on internet you'll see that they didn't even mention the 3d capabilities. BTW the new name is awesome.
Seems they are kinda stepping away from the whole 3d thing which is fine with me. I bought the 3ds because its the "sequel" to the ds and it has higher specs and therefore has more possibles
