Sometime soon hopefully. I just bought new RAM, and I know my harddrives aren't immortal. I want to know what my replacement options are so that I'm ready.

My Motherboard has slots for those Red SATA cables. However I don't know if my motherboard is just compatible with SATA or not. Am I still fine if I want SATA II? SATA III ?

Just wanna know what are my options for types of compatible harddrives/cables.

1st two links on this page is info on my motherboard/system.

It's compatible with SATA 2 drives. If it's a boot drive, get either a Samsung Spinpoint F3 or Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB. If it's a storage drive, get a WD Caviar Green 2TB. Simples.
