Hacking Looking for certain kind of GBA Flash Cart

So, I have experience in hacking and modding other game systems, like PSone, PS2, Dreamcast, and PSP. So you can explain things to me and not dumb it down.

I've recently tried to get rid of all my Gameboy stuff, but since I just can't seem to get rid of it all. I got rid of one GBA, then I get a GBA SP from my cousin lol, I'm interested in buying a Flash Cart for it. And here's what I plan on using it for:


-I want to be able to play almost any GBA game, without much hassle. Although I understand that GBA roms aren't necessarily like your common rom?
-Gameboy Color, and Gameboy roms. I guess there's compatibility issues with this?
-Gamecube connectivity.
-Games that use the real time clock? I hear this is a problem?
-Multiplayer
-Either large capacity, or the option for some kind of flash card, like Micro/MiniSD.

I ask all of this, because reading around on the internet is all mostly outdated, and I'm getting no where. This forum looks pretty active, so I hope nobody minds me asking. If anyone has any explanation of what I need to know, or a simple link to a flash cart that has all of these specifications would be great. Any info and recommendations would help me a lot.

If you have a DS then you could get a cheap flashcart such as Ak2 with an EZ 3 in 1 to play GBA games or M3 Real perfect bundle. Though I'm not too sure on the topic of GBA flashcarts seeing as they are a bit outdated, though the old Supercard GBA carts are great.

Also why would you want to get rid of all your GBA/GB stuff??

Unforunately, I don't have a DS. And I also wanted to get rid of my GB Stuff because I've gotten rid of my games for it twice now, and getting rid of the console itself has been the problem. I use it, then I don't use it. But recently, I've gotten back into Gamecube, and gotten several games that use the GBA, and I just happen to have gotten a GBA SP. I figure I might as well use it. Previously, I had been playing GB games on my PSP. But that's not so convenient for multi-player, or Gamecube connection.

I'm guessing your recommendations only apply for DS?

If you want a GBA flashcart with all that get either an EZ-Flash IV or M3 Perfect.

The EZ-Flash IV has no RTC but will cover everything else nicely:

How about flash carts with their own built-in memory only? I don't necessarily have to have an SD slot to have full compatibility. I hope.

Well, a card slot is a must if you want a lot of games, because the built-in memory in GBA flashcarts isn't much.

If you want something with its own memory space, be prepared to pay 50 bucks or more for it used, around 100 or more for new if you can even find any, assuming it was something good like a EZ-Flash III. They will most likely require drivers, which are XP only, that means NO VISTA OR WIN7.

Well I'm on XP, so that won't be a problem.

The only problem I'm running into is actually finding a cart for GBA. All of the online sellers seem to have moved on to DS. And none of them seem to acknowledge Gamecube connectivity.

It doesn't mention anything about GC connection though. Does anyone know if that works on this cart?

it should. unless you load the DS only version of the firmware.
