Hei everybody, I ordered a R4DS last week, and now, I want to order a 1gb microsd. Im particulary looking at the 1gb transcend microsd from the supercard store, free shipping and pretty good price. Anyway, anyone knows a better online place to get 1gb microsd, for less than 31€(with shipping included), within the european union? lol...

    Thanks in advance [IMG]

What cards are compatible with the R4 - I'm looking at a 1GB Corsair MicroSD but it's insanely cheap so I think it can be a bit bulky. Anyone tried it?

Compared to the other similar products of Slot-1 flash linkers, R4 should be the minimum requirement for the TF Card! However, the selection of a quality TF card is always right! I recommend kingmax 512MB, kingston 1G and PNY 1G; You can also check TF cards recommended at R4 offical site.

MobyMemory.com have a 1GB SanDisk MicroSD card for £14.99 plus £1.20 shipping. I haven't recieved my R4 or the MicroSD card yet but I can get back to you in the next couple of days. [IMG]

Thanks for the link to the list of compatible MicroSD cards. It puts my mind at rest because I bought a Sandisk 1 GB today.

Thanks [IMG] Anyway, it's the same price as the transcend 1g from supercadstore, do you think sandisk is better? Thank you [IMG]

SanDisk is a reputable make... personally I'd trust a SanDisk card more than something from the SuperCard store [IMG]

I'd also like to know if anyone has tried the 1GB Corsair MicroSD card. I can get one on sale for fairly cheap.

Not bad, I stuck with Sandisk though. In the Supercard Lite it seemed to perform second best compared to other brands. Even brands that were suposed to be blazing fast. Apparently it has more to do with the flash card than the microSD you buy....

So to be safe I stuck with the solid performer SanDisk. However if I knew the stats on Kingmax and the R4, I would go with it in a heart beat. Kingmax makes their own memory chips and in my opinion has the best manufacturering plant for high quality products. Relatively unknown though here in the states and europe....

I'm using Kingmax in a M3 DS Simply and I have had no problems whatsoever.

Kingston, I think you mean. And relatively unknown? I think not.
