Hardware Looking for a decent AV cable to play psp on tv

I bought on on ebay which is like 1.8 or 2 meters? Anyway it is too short.. how can I sit on my couch or bed when it is short like that, I have a big tv!

So I need atleast 3 meter cable, and even that is pretty short...

Also this cable doesn't give me sound for some reason.. I plugged in the component cable, and the white/red one', pressed external display on psp (I have 2000/3000 model) and I got image. But no sound.. no matter what.

I even tried the white/red one's in every other white/red connection I could find.. audio in. audio out. even composite lol. to no avail.
Other problem is, when I ran the psp in the menu it was 100% fullscreen, but as soon as I played a real psp game, there were huge black borders around it.. not full screen. wtf???

Do any decent cable exist or should I give up?

If the cable's not doing its job you could always connect your PC to the HDTV and play it with Remote Joy Lite or if you can afford, then go with PSTV.

My nephew's gonna be mindblown when he sees how such a tiny device is capable of playing PSP games (his one's busted for ages).
