I'm not sure how you made it...but next time boil the rice cakes first to soften them up.

Afterwards you can chop some green onions and stir fry those in a bit of oil first. Just before the green onions change color, add in the rice cakes and a little bit of light soy sauce. Stir fry that for about 2-3 minutes. Then you can add the spicy sauce and then stir fry for another 3-4 minutes.

Some meat and chinese cabbage wouldn't hurt either.

Do you always eat your food somewhere besides your kitchen/dining room?

The food itself looks terribly unappealing to me...I guess it's not my style but I think I'd like it better without all of the red sauce all over it...

It looks like someone pulled their intestines out and plopped them into a bowl. Zombie movies anyone?

No offense intended, but I don't think his name is:
    1. with no name known or acknowledged
    2. given, written, etc. by a person whose name is withheld or unknown
    3. not easily distinguished from others or from one another because of a lack of individual features or character

    Perhaps synonymous would fit better...

Rice and noodles are staples of asian phoood.
What I meant is that the phoood is probobly phried shit, like almost every Asian phast phoood restaurant in North America...
