Longer sigs (in characters, not physical size)

It would be nice to see the character limit for signatures increased

I don't think the character limit stops people having huge signatures anyway, because an image tag is really short. It's people like me with signatures with lots of links and text in that struggle. The [topic] tag has helped cut down, but a shorthand version of that would be nice as well

The sig isn't an advert space...

I guess I don't really need the recommended shops thingy, I started off with one and it kinda grew. I've removed them now.

And BoneMonkey, I'm keeping these. I want people to know about KYT sessions and to help the City. And I obviously want CashLagoon referrals

I think Sinkhead will use the "space" well though, not just for advertising. (I think it's half cool-community-stuff and half get-me-sum-monies-advertising lol.) Compromise on a slightly larger character limit?
