Hacking Local Modchip Installers

I'm looking for a local modchip installer. Preferably someone who has the chip I can buy from them and have them install it. I stink at soldering PCB stuff(read: Killed my xbox trying). I'm in Northwest Illinois(Quad Cities area). Anyone that could help, or maybe point me to a site.

I have checked my local craigslist btw.

Unfortunately the US has messed up copyright laws, so you're probably not going to be able to find anyone to solder it in for you.

I was thinking a private party(person). I'm figured no retail establishment would do this.

craigslist is a good place to start, you just might find someone there
