Loading higher colour depth images onto DS

    I have recently been learning to develop for the DS and so have started by reading a tutorial hosted at dev-scene.
    I have been reading the section titled "5.3 Working With Graphics Files" found here: http://dev-scene.com/NDS/Tutorials_Day_3#W..._Graphics_Files
    The author says that it's possible to load in higher quality bitmap images.

    Can someone help me in doing so or point me in the direction of a tutorial that goes into a little more detail.

    Don't used blasted sprite mode and it's RGB555. Go for the good stuff, load images as a texture on a big flat polygon the size of the screen.

    Sounds good and is a technique I'm familiar with on other platforms. Can you please teach me the specifics for DS programming, or otherwise point me towards some place that can explain the process to me.
