this is my first time fooling with homebrew so I am a little on the noob side with this.

I just put the wanikoko DVD dumper on the SD in a "apps" folder. The homebrew channel shows it in the menu and I click load and the screen goes black like it's going to load, then goes back to the homebrew channel. This is the first app I tried running from the homebrew channel.

I tried searching, but I didn't find much.

Do other applications work when loading them from the Homebrew Channel?

Do you have the dvd files the dumper needs to work, it needs more than just the ones used for mplayer and other dvd programs.

Here is how i got mine working which is neede to play backups,

"Any DVDx installed must be uninstalled before preceding.

Step 1: Open The Homebrew Channel

Step 2: Select the app labeled "Apps/DVDx/boot.dol", and hit load

    2a. Select "Advanced Install"
2b. For IOS, select 249 (IOS249) (You have to use the D-Pad to select 249)
    2c. Hit Install

    Your Done Installing DVDx"
    Copied from an instructable.
Hope it is not against the TOS, I do not remember if it is.
