if you wiiU is Dead, you are SCREWED with your HDD only......No possibility to have another wii and plug the drive.

AFAIK there are people working on this (changing the crypto key used to decrypt the HDD inside of the Wii U). Also what if the HDD is dead? You should always have backups...

Sd format is the only way to play all retroarch games, All wii games and all wiiU games. Do you know another format that regroups all??

We'll see if the Wii Us SD cardreader and 32 bit OS will be able to handle that. I highly doubt as HDDs can't be bigger than what 32 bit allow. Also the factor limiting the speed isn't the card but the card reader.

EDIT2: I almost forgot about sdcafiine support for mods and I want to add that the gui is way more cooler then the normal wii u menu

SDCaffine works with Tiramisu just fine. There's also an Aroma version which is the best one in history.
