Hacking Little question

Hi, I have a PAL wii version 3.2E and a wiikey 1.9b.
I'm wondering if my backups of the games will work, I don't want to ruin another DVD+R( I know, they're not expensive, but still.. )
I read some things about the donkey kong game's update not working or something like that.
Can anyone help me out?

Have your backups not been working? ... or, are you asking before you try making any?

If it is the second reason, I suggest you try burning one, and see what happens.
