Hacking Liteon-DG-16D4S-0225 Probe Thingy work?

Okay I am always trying to save a dollar and I think I screwed up again. I bought this unlocked PCB that was not a TX brand. Picture below. Now I see all of these DIY DVD Power cable attached with a switch on the 3.3V line and wondering is that switch enough to power cycling when trying to put a Liteon-DG-16D4S-0225 into vendor mode? I been trying that 1 second pull out the DVD power cable and putting it back in after hitting "YES" and that is not working.

Let me see so far 2 failed Nand Flashers, and now a locked PCB board trying to pass as an unlocked one. This damn company has let me down wayyyyy to many times. This the last time im buying anything from them.
