Hacking List of Trim-able roms

is there a list of trim-able roms anywhere?

if not, maybe we should start one.

Almost all roms are trimmable, and as far as I know the software for pretty much all the backup devices all do it automatically.

If you're referring to ripped roms, then that's a different story.

whats the diff between trimming and ripping

Ripped games have either had files taken out or downsampled.
Trimmed games have just had the junk removed that was added to make the ROM a full card size.

the only problem with trimming i had was Trace Memory on the M3... G6 works fine with trim

oh....so all carts are full its jut the rom itsself my not bt ehta tbig....
so if i hvae a clean dump...can it be trimmed

yeah that's true. trimming only removes file padding at the end (rather, it should be only removing the padding)

no they aren't, you'll have to trim them yourself.

no they arent trimmed, you can trim them if you want.
