List of Stupid NDS Stuff My Friends Do

This was my reaction about Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks :|

I have to say, the games would have been much, much better off had they utilized button controls too, instead of forcing you to use the touchscreen. It's really what keeps me from going back and playing those games again.

They also could have done without the godawful blowing portions of Spirit Tracks.

I played the game on a DS phat, the microphone sucked balls making it difficult to register the blows.

No, that would make it much easier. I actually had a hard time getting the mic to work without shoving it in my face. I used to play the flute, but even now I still can't figure out how to blow straight very well.

My friends are those 'LOL I play shooters every once in a while, so I'm a gaming expert' people. Don't expect them to be smart at this stuff.

How can you even consider these people friends? They're.... there isn't even a word to describe them. It's like you took the stupidest person on the planet, then found someone 10x more stupid than that person. You need to stop hanging out with these people. They aren't good for your intellect. Hang out with me instead, I at least know what I'm talking about most of the time.

Exactly. It was such a pain in the ass that I just stopped trying at like the third time it makes you blow.

One of my friends just relayed this to me. It's a conversation between her and another of our friends. I would have put this in the first post, but the max amount of quotes has been reached.

My friend recorded this conversation because she thought I'd want to put it on here (Yes, she knows about this thread. She's the only person who wasn't offended when I told her about it! lol). The very first part of the conversation wasn't recorded, but she started recording it after that because "it sounded like he was going to be a stupid ass again." The very first part was just what she remembered was said, though.

Him: "Uh... I don't understand this DS stuff."
Her: "Why?"
Him: "Well, it's just a screen, so how does touching cause things to happen?"
Her: "I don't know, ask *My name*."
Him: "And why aren't the games any good? I can't find any Silent Hill or Devil May Cry or Black Ops or anything."
Her: "Did you read the list of DS games *My name* gave you?"
Him: "Yeah, sure."
Her: "Then why the hell do you think the DS would have Silent Hill or Bops?"
Him: "Well, that's Wikipedia. It's not the truth. And besides, every other console has those games."
Her: "Are those games on the Wii?"
Him: "Are you stupid? Hell no."
Her: "Then they're not on every other console. On another note, the DS is a handheld."
Him: "Whatever, I'm going to *Local game store* to find Bioshock DS again. They might have it now."

Uh, both the Wii and DS have COD:Black Ops. True, they aren't the best versions (IMHO) but they're there. XD I wish they'd put Left 4 Dead on a handheld. I have a few screenies of what it'd look like, and it looks pretty awesome.
