Hi there <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I would like to make a list here to get all the cards working with YSMenu/DSTT kernel.
I will update this list on this first-page-first-post to have an easy look at it.

Please give us information about your card, as follow :

<!--sizeo:2--><span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b><u>Works natively</u></b> <i>(just copy/past files)</i> :
Name of the card + website written on the box/card + screenshot of the system structure files
<b><!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->(really important to see the real difference between the kernels)<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>

<b><u>Works using a kind of dual-boot method</u></b> <i>(you launch your kernel first, then launch YSMenu/DSTT)</i>
Name of the card + website written on the box/card + screenshot of the system structure files
<b><!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->(really important to see the real difference between the kernels)<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

<a href="http://gbatemp.net/t264123-tuto-r4i-sdhc-and-other-clones-how-to-play-new-games" target="_blank">Here is a link to a tutorial that could help you</a> doing this. <b>Please note that we don't need to test the second method given on this tuto</b> (that would be too long to make this list and this method is not really usefull unless you wanna use your GUI with DSTT database files).

Why you dont write like this?

Name of the card + website written on the box/card + screenshot of the system structure files
(really important to see the real difference between the kernels)

Thank you for your participation but you gave us the method how to have DSTT kernel dual booting with WOOD, I am looking for original and "official" (from the constructors websites) kernels.
It means the original kernel structure for your card.
It would help to see the differences between clones, so we would know which one is a clone of original DSTT, which one is a clone of a DSTT clone, etc.

But yes, WOOD is fantastic i'm already using this dual boot on my R4 Original
smile.gif

I'll just add a line relative to all cards which can run WOOD.

Sorry i don't know much about the original structure for your card r4 original

All i know i madeup this little structure myself and work's very well for R4 original for Dual-booting both YSMenu and WoodR4

YSMenu is Basicly Converted DSTT firmware on a R4 Original Card...

If it work's it work's leave it at that XD!

EDIT

For R4 Original's Only - Ones with the 2GB microSD Chips

Backup Game's and Save's befor Formatting MicroSD chip, Then Re-Place firmware onto root of your microSD chip

WoodR4 v1.18 + YSMenu V6.40

I need some people to test some kernels with a _SYSTEM_ structure please
smile.gif

They are not DSTT clones so I cannot manage to test the kernel on my DSTT clone, and as they are nearly all different from R4 original I cannot give it a try.

R4 New / R4 SDHC : http://www.r4new.com/
R4-New : R4-new.com (Domain does not work anymore) - R4-New_v1.50_New.zip
R4 PLUS : www.r4.ndsl.cc
R4 PLUS : r4plus.net (Domain does not work anymore) - R4Plus_net_v2.01_English.zip
R4 SDHC Ultra & R4i www.r4ultra.com

It will only work with dual boot so do not try anything else
wink.gif

I'll update this list as soon as I'll got these kind of kernels in my hands.

Edit :

The cards I found getting WOOD and that I will not test neither :
R4-Pro, use WOOD 1.19 from the website - www.r4-pro.com
-> Could work on R4 Pro : r4dspro.com (Domain does not work anymore) - R4Pro_v1.50.zip

Supercard DS Onei works natively with both Ysmenu and DSTT menu
cdgbh.png
dfgh.png

Pretty standard set up, just requires a special boot file and rename the the firmware you want to use (DSTT or Ysmenu) to TTMenu.Dat and rename scfw.sc to anything if you don't want that to be your primary firmware.
Unless you want EOS, then you just don't download the boot file and leave as is.

The Boot file needed

Mixed up my steps for another firmware, fixed it now.

Thank you, but could you give me the website link please?

There are like 50 clones called R4(i) SDHC and none is official as they are clones ^^'

Pretty standard set up, just requires a special boot file and to patch the ttmenu.nds with the Supercard DLDI, then rename it to TTMenu.Dat and rename scfw.sc to anything if you don't want that to be your primary firmware.
Unless you want EOS, then you just don't download the boot file and leave as is.

Thank you, I will add it shortly

R4 Top 1:1 DSTT clone Uses TTmenu and YSmenu

I think we should create a data base because some of the versions of the R4 kernals and YSmenu are modified to work on a particular card and are hard to find and very hard to make on your own.

You can also run YSmenu natively on your Acekard.
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=169344
Using the YSMenu part of that method

Then rename YSMENU.NDS to akmenu4.nds
Just make sure when you use this method you have "__ak2" in the root of your card.

WARNING!!! There is a slim chance this can brink your Acekard, I can't confirm if it does or doesn't brick it, but I have read that there is a chance. I would suggest sticking with AKAIO unless you know how to fix your bricked card if it does brick.
