Hacking Linux on a USB

So I've been wondering - is there any way to boot up Linux on your Xbox 360 from a flash drive? I mean, I heard about Free60, but it installs on the HDD directly, as far as I know. I'd simply like to have the ability to boot up Linux on my X360 without formatting the HDD to browse the web and do some other things.

Yes you can, you have to use xell

Download the zip, and extract the vmlinux and Casper folder to the root of USB, make sure to use the included vmlinux as it's been altered to look on the USB instead of CD/DVD or hdd, its Ubuntu 10.10

You need a jtag or rgh to do this
