Hello, I happened to find my old GBC Gameshark v3.1 that connects to PC via parallel printer port. Problem is that I no longer have my old Windows 98 PC with printer port. Instead I have a laptop with Windows Vista (32 bit), and it only has USB ports. I tried using a parallel-to-usb adapter from CompUSA, but I couldn't get it to work. I also tried connecting my Gameshark to one of the computers at a computer lap from my college, which happen to have Windows XP x64 with printer port, but couldn't get it to work either for some reason. Question is, is there some way I can connect my GB Gameshark to my Vista laptop or XP PC via USB port? Which adapter do you recommend?

I'm asking this because I want to backup my Gameshark Snapshots to my PC.

I also remember that there was a GBC Gameshark that connected to the PC via USB. Does anybody know where I can find this?

And yes, I had the Game Boy on when trying to link to the PCs.

I would imagine that you'd want to try it on 32-bit Windows XP or older, nothing with 64-bit and nothing with Vista. That said, that's all I can really suggest as I have no further idea than you as to how to get it to work. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Well, I can always use my parent's XP, but I live too far away from here, and I don't remember if it has the printer port or not. Is there some other method I can use to back up my Game Boy saves?

Problem is that I live away from my parents, as I said before. So, is there a USB alternative?
