Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the starry skies
Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light
Final fantasy IV

looool, they are all great RPG games on the DS..
And, now im waiting for the release of Realms of Revelation and Radiant Historia..
hope this games are good also...

I don't really have a top 5 of my most favourite games, because they always appeal to me in different ways, but these are the ones I played the most

1. Mario kart ds
Great multi-player game, had a lot of fun with it, but ruins your left thumb if you play too much.

2. Pokémon diamond
Instant classic in my opinion. Did a lot of things right since gen II

3. Final fantasy tactics advance A2
Simply a great game, AI could be a lot better, but the game is fun nonetheless due to the amount of customization.

4. Megaman zero collection
Doesn't add much to the gba games at all, but it's really nice to have all megaman zero games on one cartridge. And it helps a great deal when the games are, simply put, a blast to play (and hard at that as well).

5. Legend of kage 2
Overlooked title, very nice bosses, but dull levels. However, on higher difficulties the levels get a lot more interesting, because the enemies get way harder. The extra unlockables, like art and boss rush mode are nice as well.

Solatorobo: red the hunter
It isn't out in Europe yet, but I liked the Japanese version a lot, can't wait to play the game in English.

Great Story, Great gameplay, Great characters, Great Soundtrack.
2. Infinite Space
Same as TWEWY.
3. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (Stardust Accelerator 2009; Reverse of Arcadia 2010; Over the Nexus 2011)
I love the Graphics and the Stories, and I also love the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG and the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series (my favorite YGO series), so taht makes the 5D's games great for me.
4. Dragon Quest IX - Senteinels of the Starry Sky
Just great!
5. Digimon World DS
Erm, the Digimon games were always better than pokemons, and DS was really cool in both story and digimon rising. Dusk/Dawn were good too, but I like the DS one more.

Extra:
Pokemon Black
Even though Pokemons always have about the same story, Black's was cooler than any other pokemon game's story so far, and the graphics also make it great. But since it is pokemon, I get bored quickly, and beat it easily.
