Super hard to choose. The DS has a crapton of awesome titles. But these are the ones I've played and enjoyed the most.

In order from 1 -5. But really, there's about 10 more games that I could've put into that list. I do know though, that Strange Journey and The World Ends With You are in the top 2.

Here's a list of mine, though they aren't in order:

9 Persons 9 Hours, 9 Doors
-Love Visual Novels, especially when the story is as awesome as this.

Ace Attorny/AAI
-Again, the quirkiness of the stories and characters makes these games a favorite, maybe my favorite overall/

Profesor Layton
-Puzzles are fun, the stories are good too, especially unwound future.

The World Ends With You
-Story is great, Innovative Gameplay, Really the best game out for DS, probably.

Okamiden
-This was a really good transition from PS2/Wii, to DS, it was nearly seamless in gameplay and quality.

I'm almost finishing the 1st game and i can clearly say: this is one of my favorite series ever.

3. Mario Series
I love the Platformers, and i love the RPG's... also Mario Kart

4. The Legend Of Zelda
TLoZ... What can we say more than that? xD

5. Everyother Game on the DS? xDDD i just have to many favourites and cant decide what to post more..

Dragon Quest IX (Spent hours on this, and loved every one of them)
Legend of Zelda PH/ST (Basically I love Zelda games)
Pokemon All (I'm always a fan of pokemon and this includes the spin-offs except Dash and Tronzei and that. So including Ranger(especially Guardian Signs, multiplayer ranger is awesome) and Mystery Dungeon)
AA/AAI (Love these games, so many twists, so awesome)

Hard to pick a fifth to put in so here are canidates for the fifth slot

Super Robot Taisen: Endless Frontier/EXCEED (Mainly Endless Frontier, cause in these kind of games i find it harder to play when i can't understand it.)
999 (Never did get those last two ending, it's what happens when you unintentionally get the true ending first (well as first as you can))
Mario and Luigi: PiT/BiS (Fun, that's it)
JUS (Ahh, Tsuna how I beat with thee so)
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (All three they are the same with a slightly different story and card base)
