You're wrong and you need to face that. Just because one hasn't been found now doesn't mean it never will be found. We thought there won't be an exploit for 9.3+, it happened. We thought there won't be an exploit for 10.4 to 10.7, it happened.
Not to mention simple research shows that there is an exploit through DSi and hardmod, which mean there will be more in due time
Just because you updated your system and gave up hope, doesn't mean hope is lost.

...and then look what happened. We got it.

I think we should be really thankful that there even exist two ways to downgrade a 3DS.
If I was a penny pincher and only willing spend little money on a way to get everything for free, I would buy a soldering iron, learn to solder and then do that downgrade.
If I was scared of bricking during soldering, I would buy a cheap used 3DS with 10.7 or lower, hack it, get Fieldrunners, restore it to the other one and so on.
But crying on a new thread on an online forum about how only two ways exist to get everything for free would never come to my mind.

Ignoring the DSiware Downgrade method (which requires a second hacked 3DS to do as well as some way to get legit eShop credit on the hacked one)

Basically, chances are it'll happen again. In particular, the guy who made Musichax wants to do privilege escalation himself on the latest firmware, and I have a lot of faith in the guy. From what he's said about it, I gather that software is sort of like a large net. It's full of holes, but you can't go through them unless you find a good, weak one, and use it to tear a much bigger hole.

The guy is a brilliant reverse engineer.

Basically, all hope isn't lost.
