I'm lending my fried CF and I have it on my USB. How do I edit my game? Normally I use saveame extracter/installer, and I have savegame manager by waninkoko the 2in1 installer extracter one that uses savedata from the home menu and doesn't require a disk.

Cani just use that instead of using the way that requires a disk?

What exactly do you mean by 'editing the game'? Like, editing the ISO, or what?

Yes, as long as you get the RVFOREST.DAT file from the savegame manager application then you are OK (i.e. you could use ACToolkit).
That file should have exactly 4,256,576 bytes (0x40F340).

WiiXplorer has a savegame manager that will extract/install it in the format you need, and doesn't need a disc. You don't

    This is news to me.

As far as I know, you need to have the savegame manager application in your apps folder already then WiiXplorer will show you that application as a choice under Start/Apps menu, and allow you to launch that. I would like to understand better if actually WiiXplorer by itself has the capability to extract and install savegame file.

Thanks, and I didn't know WiiXplorer could extract save files. I have WiiXplorer but didn't know. Sorry.
