. Looks good, haven't played the original triology DS version but by the sounds of it it was pretty crap and glitchy. If it is as good as the quick 5 mintues i have had of playing it (Xbox 360 Original Triology) , should be good.

From what I've been told, this game is an "apology" for the previous LEGO Star Wars DS game. Supposedly the first one was rushed to coincide with a DVD release or some carp like that. Also, I seriously doubt there will be any General Grievous as this game is following episodes 4-6.

But here's a little something to take the edge off:

LEGO Grievous

Actually, this game follows all 6 movies, not just 4-6.

Bloody hell that Lego starwars site wants a lot of resources. Its the only site i have been on in my life that managed to freeze firefox then i had to go to the task manger to shut firefox down then my Ojectdock crashed.

Graphics are okay not as good as the cut-scene screen shots. Looks fun. Its been out a couple of hours now, susprised GBAtemp has added it to its "New Releases" yet.

Edit- Woh, Cut scenes are awesome plus when you first play those trumpeting band aliens are playing the background. Trumpeting band aliens ftw!!!

Using the force consists on moving a blue energy ball which appears in the green square (on the touch screen) its kind of tacky but cool and no glitches for the first 5 minutes...so far

Please, is it the same gameplay as the console versions? Graphics and sound are a given because the DS is not in the same league. One of the problems I had with the other DS version was the fact that it was a totally different game (beside the glitches). Are the same levels there (and the same amount of levels)?

What's the release number?

Sounds pretty good

1612 look on ds scene.

@ Granville from what i have played so far it seems similar to the console versions but it has a room where you can access star wars themed mini games once you have unlocked them. A few tweaks in gameplay like tapping character icon on touch screen to swap character i think. Deductive reasoning, might not but seems like it, otherwise it is pointless having it on the touch screen. You can't at the start so i can't be obi-wan

. No glitches yet. Although using the force seems to be a very good way to scratch your screen

You can use the force by holding down the A button as well. It's a little slower, but it gets the job done and keeps your screen intact.

It's no Dragon Quest Monsters, but it's fun.
