With how great the NES set was I will definitely have to pick this one up. That NES set was one of the coolest Lego sets I've seen in years.

Nes one was great. Also loved the pac-man arcade machine and the atari one. They are all great sets and very fun to put together. I will probably get this one although I see it being a lot less to it (due in part to Gameboy being just a little brick and not much detail.) Believe this will be a lot smaller kit.

I clicked on this topic because that thought came to me too. Of course, that'd take more engineering, like detachable buttons and a durable base that cannot be dismantled. You'd get that from small indie spaces, not outfits like Lego.

I wouldn't be shocked if at this point they are just trying to schedule and prepare everything. I mean they have to make a reveal trailer, schedule and script out a presentation, game trailers and videos for presentation, marketing materials, and obviously production but that has been ongoing for quite a while now.
