Hacking Legal Status of flash cards in Hong Kong?

There are a few int he USA that actually ship from within the country by 2 day mail
I have used them so I can confirm

Once bough put it inside the 3ds without an sd in it. Do not go at airport customs with the console containing the cart at hand during the gate inspection, keep it inside the main bag and pray. The problem is not to buy the cart in hk, billion stores sell them. Problem is custom police going back home, the airport customs both in hk and your country one once landed. Imho you should try to buy one at home, doing some research not risking anything

I have travelled around half the world with my DS and 3DS, flashcard included, even playing while in queue for customs.

Never in my life heard or experienced such strict customs tbh. They don't really give a fuck about a measly portable console that is obviously used and for personal use or about anything that may be inside it (unless their dogs smell some cocaine)

I think custom agents would be more interested in getting a flashcard for there kids if they seen one and even knew what is was

I have travelled with kids between UK and USA who have had acecards in their DS lite and have not had a problem either with security checks or at customs at either country.

Seriously, nobody would probably care about your R4, they got way more important things to do.
Just to give you an idea, when I was a kid I had a friend whose father was a cop, and guess what? He got two R4s, one for each of his sons (they both had a separate DS lite)
