Legacy of Goku II won't play on Retroarch's gpsp's "hardware."

Whenever I play Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II, right after the part when Gohan gets his Saiyan armor and flies off into the world, the screen says "The game will not play on this hardware" or something similar of the like, then the game resets and I can't play past that point.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
