    Hi there guys.

    Im getting my Wii real soon but i also want to play the wii on my computer monitor in my room. How would i go about doing this?

    i found this but im not to sure how it works.

    can anyone recommend me one or something?

    I don't think the DX box supports component video. It does have interlaced support and aspect ratio correction, which is good. But for Wii or any other console that supports it for that matter, you really want to use component video to get acceptable results. The thread I linked to discusses the HD Box Pro, which I own as well, and I can highly recommend it as a VGA box. It's cheap and does what way higher priced units do.

    EDIT: that one listed doesn't do 1080p so get the HDBOX just incase you need it for something else other than the Wii.

    excellent product and has direct wii and ps3 support with provided cables. Not to mention can utilize everything else including cable tv.
