Why is ot that politicians and the media make it look like every single human on the internet chatting with you right now either a pedophile or a sexual predator, but the laws still allow 13 year olds on the internet to converse and stuff? I myself find it weird.

Eh, part of it is shock appeal. It brings in the ratings and causes a buzz.

However, that being said, you do need to watch yourself. Never give out personal info, and look for red flags.

I remember seeing a story on how a girl lost her job because she sent a not revealing photo to someone and they leaked it I guess and the news just had to cover it even though literally everyone knew/knows not to do things like that.

I think it's funny whenever they have a tech related news story because half the time they don't even know what they're talking about. Funny watching them make an effort tho.

First of all, never gets old
Second of all, because it's something they don't understand and thus it scares them. But not only does it scare them, they know the target demographic that they appeal to is also afraid of this "new technology." So they toss around buzz words and misinformation because it gets them views, votes, etc. They get something out of using ignorance to control the masses.
Think about it, what's going to get people's attention? "Car wreck happened, more at 11" or "Pedophiles on the internet and they are using this new site to lure in your kids! More at 11."
In the political words, it's mostly people upset that they have no control over the internet. It's a self-moderating source that they can't oversee and thus overpowers them. So they create fear around it in some attempt to controlling it or finding "legal" ways to control it. But it's also for votes because they believe the aging population will continue to vote for the people who make them feel "safe."

I kinda agree. I really hate SJWs with an undying passion, especially the ones who make it so that you can't have an opinion on the lgbtq or basically anything else regarding sex/sexual orientation. Take this tweet from Razer as an example. They were boasting to Apple about their new ultrabook, and that it has more I/O than Apple's. They said "S my D, Apple." It was a funny comment, relating to how the Razer had an SD card slot. But, the SJWs came and said that was sexist and Razer made a public apology. This violates free speech

You can't really stop 13 year olds conversing to older people. You should see all the young kids on hentai/porn discord servers. It's actually a bit scary. But you can't do anything unless they say outright "i'm 12" or whatever. Even then, if it's a good community, you roll with it unless something happens. Too many incidents have happened when children (12-16) have sent nude photos in one of the nsfw chats. The least you can do is put a disclaimer in rules channel saying "this server is meant for 18 and up" to cover your ass. But if we all judged on age, the internet would be a very different place.

I feel the same. It's as if they're trying to make out it's the website's fault, and not the person's fault for being so mentally ill to want to fuck a child in the first place. Really, it should be: "you can use XYZ site but watch out for these signs", or something like that. I don't go around saying "Discord is evil because someone catfished me there!" (fun fact: said person who did that to me is actually a member here, but they haven't posted since like June last year)

Ya tossed a round a lot of words that I am pretty sure you don't actually know the meaning behind. "facist commies" is an oxymoron, Fascism and Communism are not the same thing. In fact one of the main goals behind Fascism is to be against Communism and eliminate it. Thus clomping them together doesn't make any sense.
Work life and personal lives blending is a complete personal choice. My coworkers know next to nothing about me unless I tell them something about me and I choose to keep most of to myself. Very few of them know my personal believes on most subjects because I keep those to myself. The most they know is that my boyfriend used to work for the store, that's it.
You are free to have an opinion, but others are free to point out where it's terrible. The examples you gave are examples of racism and homophobia, two issues that are no longer acceptable and shouldn't be acceptable. People no longer want to tolerate that kind of intolerance as the past has already shown that it is damaging towards human rights. But are free to still have them, just don't be shocked when people don't want tolerate them anymore.
You also keep using "witch hunt." You have no idea what a "witch hunt" actually is. It's not people disagreeing with you, it would be people going out of their way to find and persecute you based on your belief structure or assumed belief structure. The Red Scare and Satanic Panic are example of modern witch hunts. Someone saying, "I don't agree with you," is just a disagreement.

If you're a parent and don't want your kid sexting with a 40 year old man, you should watch over them from time to time, and educate them about the dangers of pedophiles.
