"Latest Threads" Module on the main page

Hiya,

would it be possible ( and a good idea? ) to restrict the threads that are
displayed in the "Latest threads" module on the main page?

With "restrict" i mean, that no threads from the "Testing area" are displayed, because i (and maybe others too?) use that module for a short scan for interesting topics.

unfortunately it's not possible...
i cannot choose from what forums export the latest threads...

it would be a good idea tho...
