have to check if that update is installed on my oled, though I don't think I've downloaded the game yet (just started downloading them to main, oled, yesterday night). it's going to take several days to get everything, but I installed nso n64 first, since I'm in the middle of oot.

Does Sora still have a broken priority over every other in game character? I'd guess so. A lot of DLCs were absolutely broken this generation, some like Joker ended up being nerfed thankfully, some like Sora won't ever get fixed i guess... I hope the next game's balance is less of a joke than this one.

Why don't they just fire Sakurai and get a team to keep updating the game?
Probably because it wasn't solely Sakurai's choice to finish support for the game. There's a lot more bureaucracy in Nintendo than one man going "lol I'm done". In fact, there *is* a team working on updates for Ultimate, as there always has been. But powers that be decided it's time to shelve the game and move on to a new project.

We're nearing the 6th anniversary of the Switch and still no Mario Kart 9. It feels like Rockstar milking GTA V without bothering to develop a new one.

That should be left to Limited Run Games.
Why would a company with as much capital as Nintendo outsource cart production to a third-party company, when Nintendo still has to manufacture the carts LRG will use anyway? That just sounds unneccesary, and Nintendo recieves ZERO benefit from LRG as third-parties do.
