Last 20 posts option?

It'd be nice to have the option to see the last 20 posts instead of last 10 posts on the home page.

My reasons:
1. Gives the temper better variety of threads to read and respond to. This would especially be helpful during "slow news" days.
2. If a temper posts a new topic during a busy time, it could easily be buried before it has a chance to get noticed and replied to (this has happened to me twice). A last 20 post option would make that less likely.

My apologies if there is already a way to do this -- I have looked.

It is a viable option and thanks for pointing that out, Xist (blindness, lol).

However, it would be nice to have the 20 post option on the home page instead of being linked to a new one to see it (it'd be faster, more convenient).
It's nice to have the most used features of the site gathered on one page, you know?

Seems like it could get a little cluttered, but if it's an option, I don't see where it would hurt anyone, as long as the last 10 is still an option

I do agree that last 10 should be default because that's what people are used to.
As far as clutter, I looked and there appears to be plenty of space in the right side bar for 'last 20' to fit.
