I'm quite tired of deleting and re-downloading stuff on my 360 slim. Is there a way for me to use my VAIO laptop's hard drive on the 360. Is it gonna work? Are there any consequences (banning, etc?) I'd prefer a step-by-step guide as plugging it in, formatting to FAT32 (well, not entirely, just left the recovery partition as is), and the 360 doesn't detect it. The size of the HDD is 160GB.

It depends what type of hdd your laptop has. It's a simple task to add it (using youtube tutoriol), opening, i'm not sure about partition.
But if i can recomend anything - get used 20 gb old type hdd and you should be golden with that.

Yes if your laptop hard drive is SATA, you can!
    watch this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKnaixPCsns

EDIT: actually, in that video, he got the hard drive from his old Xbox 360. I don't know if you can use the hard drive from your laptop.
