guys ive been looking at the japanese rom of pokemon ss and found out that that also includes guru narc so whats wrong with the us version

What's wrong is that you don't understand the Nintendo Anti-Piracy... The GURU2.NARC file is the one that contains event data (such a movements of a person) The USA anti-piracy is not, or hardly crackable, but the japanese anti-piracy is outdated and thus crackable!
