Okay guys i have two main questions.

    How exactly does Lameboy.12 save?
It obviously uses the save slots (the ones that end in .ls#) it has to create that sort of a save state feeling. however some games (pokemon yellow/crystal) are also giving me a .sav so that's confusing me. Does it use the .sav for the games that have it, or what?

How can one cheat on Lameboy?
I want to cheat on pokemon by giving myself the pokemon I want from the beggining. Does lameboy support an AR or cheating mechanism? Or is there any way to manipulate the .sav/.ls# or rom to give me this option?

    1. the .sav files are created when ACTUALLY saving the way the game intends you to and the other file is a savestate (obviously)
    2. you cannot cheat on lameboy, but why would you want too? you can however use the .sav's created by lameboy to cheat on a pc emulator and transfer the save back to your flashcart.

I've always given myself the pokemon I want from the beginning. [IMG]
And that's a great idea. Thanks. [IMG]

Erm, VBA does... I have no idea what you are doing wrong, but...
    - .gbc and .sav same name? (Pokemon.gbc and Pokemon.sav)
    - Options -> Emulation -> Directories - make sure the .sav is in the battery folder (if given; if not, same folder as the .gbc)

I got it for some reason my VBA save settings weren't on automatic.
