hi i got an Korean wii,

wanted to install the d2pro v3 on it
the chip worked flawlessly (red and blue lights ticking as on any other consoles)
and the Disks are read .... (i modded nearly 50 Wiis so far)

but it couldnt read any copies .... or originals....

not PAL not US not JAP ...

maybe i should have put in an Korean disk first (for the native code setting?).... ?

or ist the Korean Version only playing Korean Copies ?

Version of the FW is 3.3 K

The Korean Wiis have some security features the other Wiis don't (yet) have. Since they use a different key for content signing, it may not be able to boot discs from other regions. However, bushing has already found some interesting things that may allow breaking the additional security.
