Hideo Kojima has said before that 70% of his body is made of movies, and now, he'll finally get to actually make one. Kojima Productions has unveiled its next project, which is a film adaptation of Death Stranding. Hammerstone Studios will be financing the movie, and will include the help of Alex Lebovici, executive producer of the 2022 film Barbarian. Development on the project is already underway, and while Kojima is keeping most of the details under wraps, this adaptation will, "introduce new elements and characters within the Death Stranding universe".

“We are thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to partner with brilliant and iconic Hideo Kojima on his first film adaptation,” said Lebovici. “Unlike other big budget tentpole video game adaptations, this will be something far more intimate and grounded. Our goal is to redefine what a video game adaptation could be when you have creative and artistic freedom. This film will be an authentic "Hideo Kojima” production.”

I envy the main star of the movie, getting paid by just demonstrating how to walk, walk and walk to it's audience until the end of the film, this movie does not need any scripted dialogue :P

Still hoping for a movie adaptation of the PS4 game "The Quiet Man", imagine watching a movie in the perspective of a deaf person, now that's a lot of fun, watching a show without any music, sound or any grunts and subtitles just like the game
