It's a fresh take of a new gen, plus with Ultra Sun and Moon on there way it'll be nice to play again with a different story.

I never played Sun and Moon, even though they looked pretty cool.

Everything I've heard about these games has sort of been like Gen V v2, taking both the good and bad. While the games seem to incorporate a more involved plot, they are also more linear than previous entries, which is a common complaint I've heard about the games. What do you think? Do you think the games are too linear? Would you appreciate it if the series returned to a more open-ended approach?

Each to their own with personal preference but some of the new features added in were nice

I do agree by when you say the game is linear it's somewhat lacking, hopefully USUM does much better

Well it shows different scenes from day and night which is nice?
I like mostly the new gen
I dislike the lack of post game content
I'd add more of a depth to the games personally
