Normal platforming for the most part. The different games are generally a different take on the Kirby formula (like Revenge of MetaKnight having a timer, or Milky Way Wishes having permanent abilities), and the only ones that deviate from this formula are the actual minigames themselves.

Dragon Quest 4 got a 7.9 average review and it was worth an 8.5, Kirby would be worthy of an 8.5 too I would think.

IGN's review was actually really positive. The only deduction they gave it was for its difficultly, which if its the same as the SNES version, will be fine.

...You kidding me?

Two things:

A- If they used SNES sprites, this wouldn't be a remake. This'd be a port (and I'd be really disappointed if that were the case).

B- Comparatively speaking, the SNES kirby sprite was atrocious compared to the GBA/NDS version of Kirby. He was really fat in the SNES version (the game itself made up for it, though

).

I hear you, man... I've had to Brawl periodically all day just to vent some built-up Kirby fanboyism.

I'm sure we all know the horrors that can be released upon the world when fanboyism is built up over a long period of time and gets released as impatience all at once... *Remembers the day Smash Bros was delayed to February* Bad things, man. Very bad things.
