UPDATE: Soon I will make a post on how to do it ^_^
Hello I'm Reko and I'm really interested in installing the WiiU Kiosk Menu, but is there a chance that I can brick my WiiU doing this

When it is possible, I am going to have some questions

Question 1: Is it going to give problems whit coldboot?

Question 2: Can I launch it of the WiiU Menu

Question 3: Can I turn of that it boot automatically into the Kiosk Menu?

Question 4: Can I add normal retail game's to the Kiosk Menu

-I hope someone knows more about this

- My WiiU Info -
Region:EU
Version:5.5.2
Installed: ColdBoot (tutorial from wiiu.guide)

We can assume that yes it would brick as it would proably replace system files. And coldboothax isn't exactly as far as the 3ds scene. Where custom firmware is loaded near bootrom. The only "safe" possible way of attempting to install the wiiu kosik menu is to use rednand. That way if it doesn't work, you'll be fine. Also, you cannot request for the wiiu kisok Menu and demo's. As... lets say gbatmp doesn't like piracy... and it would be off with your head. Just letting you know.

Thanks for your reply, but is it still possible to install Rednand on a WiiU that already has ColdBoot Hax

Yes, but you don't "install" rednand. Depending on you sd card size, you may need a 16 gb sd or a 64 gb sd card

Can you use a 32 GB to?

So that is that 'Boot fw.img on SD Card' in the CB boot menu?
you use mocha for that, nobody uses fw.imges. And second off it depends on your wiiu size. If your wiiu is 32gbs. You need a 64 gb sd card. If you don't your out of luck. And if you have a 8gb wiiu, you need 16gb sd card.

oh lord.... you used THAT site. the wiiu.guide? Don't.... it's constantly out dated. https://github.com/dimok789/mocha/releases/tag/v0.2 Download that, (if you haven't already) when you run it it gives the options to configure crap. Most importantly there is a option to enable rednand. AGAIN, you cannot have rednand if your sd card isn't big enough. Even if your sd card is 32 gb, it won't work. Anyways enable rednand, now since your a coldboothax user, go to the very top and switch it to expert, and enable the bottom most setting, (should say something about system xml) Then launch. Make sure you backup your sd card, as it's going to format data! Once it is done, the system will reboot. from there as a safety percaution, create a folder called sys. (something to show it's system nand) then run mocha cfw. If everything worked that folder should disapear and that should mean your in rednand. I managed to find the kiosk menu I believe. However I'm legally binded not to give. If I were you create a nids account. (Nintendo developer portal) just look it up. I don't think i can help you any further, as I think the admin get be pissed at me. Your on your own from there. Just keep looking around in that site, and you should find it once your registered.

But there IS a problem. In order to boot the kisok menu you need sysconfig tool. Which doesn't have a official download. https://pastebin.com/u/Username
the user name should not be replaced with iAqua, no sarcasm here, non at all. COUGH COUGH
