    I know some people say that the Kingston made in japan 1GB microsds are better.. and apparently have the model number "SD-C01G"..
    And they're made by Toshiba? So, would that make this this the same card?

    I don't really want to pay $40, but....

    yes... toshiba cards are the same as the kingston japanese cards, infact, they supply them to kingston... Just go for the cheapest price
