Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is easily one of the biggest third party titles coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Thus far, Square has been relatively quiet about the title, outside of a few acknowledgments that development was underway. That will change next month, when the title makes its playable debut alongside a new trailer at the 2011 Tokyo Game Show.

Kingdom Hearts 3D director Tetsuya Nomura claims his new game is as good as a full console entry in the series. According to a report on Andriasang, Nomura said that KH: 3D will have "the flashiest motion of the series" and is set to be released "as soon as possible" in 2012. Nomura did acknowledge that at this point, it could be tough for gamers to enter the world of Kingdom Hearts. With the 10th anniversary of the franchise approaching, Nomura hopes to address this problem.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, another title Nomura is working on, will also make its playable debut at TGS. Apparently the game is being considered "the first Final Fantasy 25th anniversary title," perhaps hinting that Square has more ambitious plans for the iconic franchise's milestone. Theatrhythm is due out in early 2012 as well.[/p]

ASAP in 2012 eh? Sounds good! I'm betting on an April-June release.

Eh, I'm not too interested in Drop Distance. I usually don't play Kingdom Hearts games although I'll make an exception for this.

I'll definitely be purchasing Theatrhythm, though.

I am more looking forward to Animal Crossing lol.
Lol I hate to admit it, but I'm looking forward to Animal Crossing more than KH too. Because I've already played too many KH titles (of course, if new one is coming then why not? I love the story), but Animal Crossing is something that can keep one busy for a solid 1 Year (+ I've only played the DS version)

or even more. I remember playing AC DS for around 1.5 Years.

Then again, I'm looking forward to Harvest Moon more THAN Animal Crossing

God I can't wait for that. Japanese DS rhythm games never cease to amaze me.

I can't really say. They aren't as good as they were Pre-Wonderful Life

Also, I really can't wait for Rune Factory 4.

Square sure will keep people busy at TGS; playable demos of Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Type-0, Kingdom Hearts 3D and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. Nice.
I wonder if the playable demos are press only

Not like I could play them from here anyway.

Like I said in some other thread, I expect it to be released in America mid-2012-ish, their intentions of releasing it in early 2012 in japan only makes me feel more sure about that.

As the KH sucker I am, I can't wait for this game. I hope the whole wall-running, pole swinging stuff isn't extremely complicated, as I hope it's not as simple as "press triangle to win".
